Early morning appt
Managed to get last minute appt for early morning (rang the afternoon before), arrived on time, when i got in there all ok and ataff were friendly.
Only thing i would say is if people have to use different entrance if appt is before aurgery is open, maybe worth mentioning it to the patient when appt is booked.

Confused.
St Mary's Treatment centre notified me and Crookhorn surgery of a heart problem detected by ecg during pre op assessment. I arranged a telephone consultation online with a Crookhorn doctor (as advised by St Mary's) who arranged a blood test and ecg which confirmed the condition. The nurse noting the high irregular heart rate sought advice from duty doctor who prescribed treatment. After 5 days of treatment I felt unwell and very anxious so attempted to make an appointment to see a doctor. The appointment was for further test of BP and pulse rate by nurse who again decided to seek advice from the duty doctor who prescribed a lower dose treatment. I have had no feedback from a doctor regarding my blood test which indicated some abnormal readings. I left the Crookhorn surgery feeling more anxious that a doctor has not provided the time to speak to me. I am still recovering from the affects of Covid detected 12/12/2020 as is recorded on my records.

Good service once they answer phone
I receive a good or very good standard of service once I crack the phone system and get through to a medical professional or member of the support staff. I recently spent two and half hours dialing or waiting in a queue to speak to a member of staff to make an appointment.

'Thank you for your feedback. We have invested significantly in our telephone system, which attempts to match capacity with patient demand at all times. There are times of day, however, which are busier than others and, during these times, it will be more difficult to get through. We do offer an alternative facility of eConsult which is available on our website, if you are able to access.

Early Morning appointment.
My early morning appointment (7-45 am) was a telephone call from the GP. I did not hear the instructions properly and went to Crookhorn Surgery instead for the appointment. The staff were very sincere and asked the doctor as I had turned up, would he see me instead. He said "yes of course, no problem". I was satisfied with the outcome, as it was only a review of my tables. He was very helpful and it was good to see him face to face.

A visit to the ulcer nurse
I am more than happy with the treatment I received from the Crook Horn Surgery. That was 5 star and more besides. I have nothing but praise for Crook Horn Staff they were exemplary *****
My only criticism would be, had I been able to get an appointment earlier at the Cosham surgery. I would have been diagnosed and could have been referred to Crook Horn surgery sooner by the Cosham Practice. So would I still be needing the support stocking I will soon be forced to wear,

Appointments
General service once in the surgery is good however the whole process to get appointments is horrendous
You call to see a doctor, unless it’s an emergency you have to call back for routine so you do that no routine appointments available call another day and so the process goes on
I have a few things I would get looked at but due to the terribly difficult way to get an appointment I don’t bother
And this is the same with prescriptions even ones on repeat that don’t get authorised as doctor wants to discuss with you but they don’t get in touch you only find out when your running out of medication to find where yours is and they tell you it’s not approved as the doctor wants to do a review
We’ll surely they should get in touch if that’s the case
