My feedback is in relation to repeat prescriptions and the response from calling about this. The last number of times I have requested medication through pharmacy 2 U there has been an issue with it being held up at the surgery. When I call to discuss this, once I am actually able to get through, I find the people on the end of the phone extremely unhelpful and in some instances rude. On the last occasion they point blank said that they had not received anything and there was nothing they could do. It took for me to have to go into my surgery to get this resolved, and low and behold they had received my request. A really poor service that is actually very stressful to be on the other end of.

Trouble with signing in
I telephoned the surgery and explained my problem and it was dealt with there and then. I was able then to order my medicines with no further set back. Very pleased with the office staff response.

I had concern about my blood pressure.
All of the Staff involved put me at ease and carried out checks to reassure me.
They gave me a program to carry out checks myself at my home and were pleased when I returned the following week with the data that I had produced.
I now feel happy with their reassurance about my health and have now found a way to provide feedback should I be concerned about my blood pressure in the future.

Was escorted in by a nurse, temperature taken an relevant questions asked, used booking in system, waited 2 mins and had my B12 injection,(NO pain!) and was outside again before my allotted appointment time!!

Very lovely professional service
I was booked in for a smear, Christmas Eve of all days! I was so nervous and worried as it's never a pleasant experience, however, the nurse I saw was a gem. Made me feel very at ease and just an all round lovely lovely woman. Wish all smears could be as easy as that was. the reception staff were very friendly and made sure everyone was temperature checked before entering the surgery. Very lovely professional service. Thank you.

Just before my 70th birthday I was invited to attend for my "MOT" - all went well , but I was rather taken aback by the attending nurse`s surprise at my handing over a sample (in a very small receptacle provided 2 days previously by one of her colleagues) - she assured me that this would be processed in due course; I have my doubts.

I’m not overly impressed with Crookhorn surgery as I never get to see my doctor I’ve been registered there for years and I think I’ve seen the Doctor 3 times

Thank you for your feedback. With the ever-increasing demands on our services, it is simply not possible or, indeed, appropriate for all our patients to see a GP, particularly for urgent problems. All of our Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners are fully clinically trained and supported by an on-site duty doctor if they need any assistance whatsoever.

Flu Jab
I arrived unannounced at the Crookhorn Lane Surgery Monday afternoon, I asked the receptionist if I could book an appointment for the Flu Jab, I was asked to enter the surgery and sit down and within 10 minutes I saw the doctor who gave me a flu jab and also additional vaccinations which would benefit my long term health.
