Routine appointment

I needed a non urgent appointment concerning an ongoing problem. Completed the form online and got a phone call from the surgery later the same day. Excellent. However, I found the form online difficult and time consuming. Also over a month to get a face to face appointment. Otherwise would have been very good.

Got it right

Did an online consultation, was sent a text to go straight to Buckland walk in , was seen very quickly and directed to SDEC William Harvey, 48 hours in there and discovered infection in my groin area in lymph nodes, Antibiotics intravenously and course to take home, thank you all for fast treatment and diagnosis

Great Service

I was sent to the health centre to see nurse practitioner Debbie Warner. She was absolutely amazing. I felt listened to. I believe she went above and beyond, and offered me some very valuable advice.

Quick and efficient

Every time I’ve dealt with St James it’s been quick and efficient. It’s been easy to talk and have my issue/request dealt with. Very happy so far with the service from the admin, receptionist and doctor/nurse teams in the time I’ve been at this surgery. Thank you all.

Child’s appointment

We called in the build up to Christmas with concerns for my daughter being unwell. We managed to get an appointment with the doctor and we were given some antibiotics. Doctor was kind and empathetic with my daughter. Thank you.

Unhappy

I was feeling very ill at the time.
First of all it took a long time to try and negotiate the new booking system. Got a call back from surgery telling me that they were unable to help me in my hour of need.
I was informed that I had to go to Buckland hospital. I live alone and somehow managed to drag myself there and seek help.

Since moving to Dover

My New Doctors surgery in my opinion has been good. When I order my prescription online it's been exceptional. The staff are very polite and helpful. So thank you to everyone.
