Dr Duncan phoned me to explain results of a blood test and next steps. She’s very clear, listened and advised, she has a lovely manner. She also answered a query on another matter for me. Dr Duncan makes me feel listened to and comfortable.

When submitting your Anima please state which Doctor you would like to see, we do, where possible, try to allocate patients as per their request. There may be occasions where this is not possible due to the urgency of your needs or if the staff member is not on shift that day.

Medical Secretary

Sarah in the medical secretaries team is truly wonderful. Nothing is ever a problem, she takes time to look through notes to find the best outcome needed. Chases any results and ensures referrals are sent off swiftly.
Sarah is very friendly and has such a lovely telephone manner.
A true asset to St James’ Medical Practice.

Quick response

Quick response to the online request. The doctor called back the same afternoon. Though she couldn’t help because it was for the hospital to organise, which she did explain.

My appointment was 20 minutes late, although I was dealt with very quickly once I was in front of the doctor. Diagnosis given and self-referral for physiotherapy. Thank you.
