Shingles injection

Wasn’t told by the receptionist that it would be a pharmacist calling. Appreciate that other services can help but I needed support only the GP could help with! I think the reception need to be upfront and specify who they are booking you with to save bother down the line

Blood pressure review

My blood pressure was a little high when I went to see a doctor at the hospital. They reported this to my GP and I was asked to make an appointment to go and see my doctor! She took my blood pressure and asked me to do a week of noting down my blood pressure twice a day! My GP looked at the results and wants to put me on tablets for it. But before she does she wants me to have a blood test to make sure my kidneys are ok.

Telephone appointment

I had an early morning telephone appointment with a doctor who phoned me on time but for some reason my phone wasn't working for incoming calls. I phoned surgery to explain and doctor kindly phoned me again later that morning after phone problem solved.
