I've had an ongoing issue for the last 2 years and no one could figure it out. Moved to this doctors and they found the issue and referred me in one appointment. Brilliant.

First visit
My first visit to St James Surgery following the move to a new area of Dover. I was greeted by a lovely, smiling receptionist, who talked me through the procedure. Dr Pria was so knowledgeable and put my mind at rest. I'm back for more small tests all booked for me within a month. Very happy with the level of service

Calcification of coronary artery
I was happy with my conversation with Dr Hill, he explained the situation very well. I would however prefer to see a doctor face to face, perhaps take my blood pressure etc. I feel a Doctor should be able to see if a patient is not right within seconds of walking into the Doctors surgery, this cannot be done on a phone call.

Check moles
Booked an appointment for a mole as it has changed colour and also did bleed. The lovely Lady Doctor was very nice and cheerful. Looked at my arms and back. Now waiting for an appointment for a digital photo at the surgery. They said she would rather it be checked.
Such a lovely Dr, nice to talk to. As are all the Drs and reception and Nurses, thank you so much

I'm sorry to hear that your Diabetic Review did not go as you'd expected. Unfortunately due to staff sickness some of our clinics have had to be converted telephone clinics. A thoroughly professional appointment
My appointment revealed that I didn't have the prostate cancer that my brother has developed, so a relief. However it did reveal pre-diabetes and I was talked through the concerns and implications involved. I am not overweight, a drinker or smoker but I know that my diet has not been the best of late. I was given the necessary guidance and advice to tackle the problem in a kind and concerned atmosphere. I felt in good hands. Thank you. All of the staff are compassionate and try their best to make an appointment simple and stress free. I highly recommend St. James Surgery.

On the day appointment with locum doctor
I recently needed to see a GP for pain I was experiencing in my lower abdomen. The doctor that I saw was pleasant and helpful and reviewed my symptoms with me and past medical history. The GP examined my stomach as a precaution due to familiar ovarian cancer he referred me for an abdominal scan that has been done very quickly.
