Trying to obtain an appointment to get some pain relief!!! What a joke.
Have to use an antiquated digital triage system. It clearly states I wanted to get pain relief in the comments and got given an option to book a physiotherapy appointment???? Why?
Told by reception appointment cannot be booked at the point of my call and I must use the "ANIMA?" system.
So a pointless week wait for a pointless physio appointment. Really helps with my long-standing back issues. When clearly I had requested pain relief.

My Experience
When I received my blood test results, on 7th July, stating that I may have an autoimmune disease, I had a text message from the surgery telling me to make a routine telephone appointment to speak with the doctor. First appointment I could get was 25th August!!! Unfortunately, as we are going away, I've had to change this to the next available on 1st September! I appreciate that doctors are busy but having to wait nearly 2 months to find out if something is wrong is very concerning.

Tried making an appointment to see my GP, but was turned down because it wasn't between 8 and 9, the reason given was the appointment slots are limited. Like if we don't all call in the same 1 hour interval there are going to be less appointment slots? It's the same number of people, same number of hours, same number of slots, why treat your patients like cattle?
Also, Anima is stupid and it told me to go to A&E for no good reason, had to lie on a question to get an appointment. Ludicrous.
Once I was in the system though, both Dr Reinecke and the lady who booked my appointment were very prompt, courteous and helpful. I really like this surgery, just wish it didn't use Anima and was a bit more flexible with call-in times

Amazing with our little one
Love the surgery. Always clean and tidy. Staff are always friendly. Been quite a lot lately for my baby’s vaccinations and always love seeing Nurse Fiona, she’s honestly so amazing with our little one and reassuring us too. Even when I forgot my red book the doctor was able to see someone else whilst my partner ran home to grab it and we were straight back in. Overall great doctor surgery.

An emergency appointment
Walked in without an appointment, totally lost my hearing. Reception staff were very helpful, as were able to get me an emergency appointment that morning. Dr Hill was very helpful too and gave good advice to help me.

The staff were very helpful although I was not sure why the problem arose.
I am on repeat prescription from my surgery to Boots the chemist without me having to go online but this month I only had 4days left of tablets and no one had been in touch? I had to find out for myself first via Boots and then St. James. Fortunately, I live close so was able to get the tablets in time.
