I've been offered & declined a treatment review a few times before because my post treatment recovery was going fine & I already had a strong support network. However, the time came when all sorts of unexpected issues arrived - an incisional hernia, a bone infarct, an increase in chronic pain - so I booked a review. This was a good idea- it was an opportunity to just talk about all the non-cancer stuff that's affecting me, plus the nurse built a checklist of actions she'd follow up from our discussion with GP & things that I could follow-up myself. I have had so many appointments, scans etc since my surgery with so many different hospital departments that although some dealt with health issues, others left loose ends & I didn't really know where to go.
This is a very helpful 'front end' to the NHS that helps tie up those loose ends in a format that starts like a chat & results in a plan

Seen by Dr Hill. He listened to what I had to say regarding my symptoms. He advised the best course of action and fully explained what he thought was going on. I didn’t feel rushed and left confident that he has my care in hand

Blood pressure annual review
Staff always friendly and professional. They explained all the procedures - never felt rushed or part of a process. Booking appointment online was easy. I have never had a problem or concern with the surgery or it's staff and I have been attending this surgery for many years - long may it continue.

I have recently changed to this GP surgery as been looking for a long time to change GPs. I've had my first f2f appointment with a GP, it went really well. Staff were great, nice waiting area, I felt welcomed and listened to. Thank you.

On going ear issues
I have had on going ear problems since January ,I have seen a medical professional for it 4 times with 3 courses of antibiotics. No one seems to want to take it any further even though I have not been able to hear properly for about 2 months now. Working is extremely difficult because I feel dizzy and sick. Today I am on the phone again waiting for over an hour and no doubt nothing will be done to actually help again. I am totally fed up and have no faith left. NHS says to seek help and then no one helps!

Appt confirmed by receptionist, slightly embarassing as had to ask for urine test pot, which was on the system. 10 minute wait from appointment time, so timing quite good. New GP, not really aware of full history, but was pleasant and listened to my issues. Antibiotics received.

Was booked very quickly for me for my urine cystis as it was ongoing.Tried to treat myself but the pharmacy would not give me canister treatment as l was over 69.
So said l should see my Dr
Dr Rynaki was very kind
And if antibiotic does not work to book an appointment to see him.
