Amazing with my son
Nurse Dan was amazing with my son, he was so thorough when going through everything to make sure he was okay and to give him the correct treatment. He gave me plenty of advice and information, and also phoned to check in on him a few days later. I couldn’t fault him, thank you Dan!!

St James' Surgery
My appointment was for a blood test to check thyroid… as it runs in the family… however the nurse said she couldn’t do it as I hadn’t been referred from doctors for a test… shame the receptionist didn’t tell me that at the time of booking… as it took up an appointment that someone else could’ve had…
Nurse was apologetic about it though… not her fault…

No sympathy or care
The doctor was incredibly unsympathetic about my pain. He mumbled and spoke very quietly which made him hard to understand, and he seemed like he could not be bothered to deal with my phone call. I left the appointment feeling, deflated, unheard and uncared for.

Baby vaccinations
Had an appointment with the nurse for my baby’s jabs. Was very nervous about how it would go, but the nurse was so reassuring, kind and cheerful. Everything went smoothly. Big thank you to her for being such an awesome and friendly nurse.

Receptionist at St James was very helpful. No available appointments left but booked me an appointment at High Street surgery with the nurse. Nurse Debbie was so lovely and professional. No complaints with either surgeries. Well done!

Complications following major surgery and bereavement were quickly and intelligently diagnosed with clear advice and detailed explanations. I left positively thinking how lucky we are to have St James, as NHS is receiving such a media bashing.
