Flu jab experience
Easy to book online following a text message offering a free jab.
Arrived a few minutes before appointment and was called in almost straight away. I was out again in less than ten minutes. Great service, thank you.

GP visit
My doctor is great and I always try to see him if he is available (Dr Reineke). There was a half hour delay with an empty waiting room for no apparent reason though, and while I understand there are high pressures on the health care system and delays are sometimes unavoidable, reception talking to people and keeping them informed is free, and they just ignored us.

Recent GP appointment
My appointment was with a new doctor who I hadn’t previously met. He put me at ease, listened to what I said and explained the outcome of previous tests. All in in all professional and helpful.

F2f appointment
My personal opinion on f2f appointment was very good, from arranging a f2f to being seen on time by the GP who was very pleasant and professional I felt listened to with regards to my distressing situation and reading the consultation notes was correct unlike some of the notes I have read in the past from William Harvery also a retired GP from this practice.
I acknowledge the difficulties GPs are facing at the moment, but feel this surgery is highly recommended in the Dover Community.

Appointment
I had been waiting for this appointment for 3 weeks. I wanted to discuss several health issues. I was told that I was only allowed to talk about one issue and should have booked a double appointment. This has never been communicated with me before. I left the surgery feeling very upset and unable to book another appointment.

Nothing special
Felt that I was rushed and being an inconvenience. Was told to remove coat to have blood pressure taken, that never happened. Ten days to wait to have a blood test, not sure if that's the norm now. To me I was being an inconvenience, maybe it was lunchtime and I was encroaching on it.

We are sorry to hear that you felt rushed in your appointment. Unfortunately, there is a wait for a blood test here at the surgery but patients can go to other service providers with their paperwork and get their blood test done quicker if they wish.
