Great

I’m a new patient and have found your reception staff and doctors that I have been in touch with to be great - efficient, strong customer service, nothing is too much trouble. This is a world away from what we experienced at our old surgery. I only wish we had moved to St James sooner. Thank you.

A good callback service

I’ve not had too long a wait for an appointment. The callback service is very good. The receptionist is very nice and helpful.

No emergency appointments available

Called in for an appointment as I had back pain and feeling feverish. Automated phone line said no appointments available until tomorrow. Called 111 instead and after going through the questions, they felf it was better to be seen by a paramedic. Paramedics came just to booking me an emergency appointment with the St James. Great service from Paramedics, dont feel the same from St James booking style. I only wanted a GP and feel a Paramedic was overkill and a waste of their time and a waste of a resource. Shame.

Kind and caring Receptionist.

I was told a 3 week wait to see a Doctor, but your Receptionist managed to find me a cancellation a few days later. Although it wasn't urgent, I didn't want to wait 3 weeks.

I was due to have my vaccine pm, my wife was booked in early morning. The receptionist kindly rearranged my appointment allowing me to have my vaccine early morning. Thanks again.
