Very pleasant experience

My husband and I arrived slightly early for our flu jabs. Check in was friendly and efficient and we were called in almost straight away and were out again before our appointment time. Thanks to all.

Our appointment went through very smoothly. We arrived in plenty of time and Becci called us straight in. It was all done very efficiently and the staff were polite and friendly and we were soon on our way out. There were no after effects from the flu jab.

Flu jabs

Got to Drs. Waited 3 mins. Got called in by Nurse. Had flu jab. Then was out. Didn't even get a sore arm. Very happy at St James. Thank you.

Annual flu jab.

Turned up for my appointed time slot. Waited about 10 minutes before being called in for my vaccination, nurse explained the procedure and possible side affects. On agreement administered the vaccine and I left. Very quick and very professionally organised.

Lungs

The person was very knowledgeable about the condition I have and helped me understand more about my condition. They informed me of all the medicines I could take and we come to the conclusion the one he gave me was the right medicine for me. All it needs to do now is work, and give me a better quality of life.

Face to face appointment

Initially disappointed to have to join the 8am rush to get an appointment that would otherwise have been 3 weeks away. Then didn’t get to see my GP or another doctor. However the nurse (Debbie) was very thorough and referred me for additional tests. The first of these (chest X-ray) was carried out and the NHS app shows I had an appointment to be told the result (normal). This hasn’t happened so is incorrectly shown on my record. Blood test and ECG are booked in next couple of weeks so will wait to see how these get reported back. In the meantime still suffering shortness of breath and fatigue. With the possibility it might just be a chest infection I was surprised no medication (or inhaler) was prescribed to assist whilst awaiting the further tests.
