Super GP surgery
Filled in an e-consult form at 7.25 and was phoned and offered an appt at 8.30 - so reassuring as a parent to have your child seen quickly and by friendly staff.

Disappointing patient care
I had a telephone appointment with a Doctor who showed a lack of empathy and sensitivity and told me that I had PCOS without warning or a chance to prepare. I was then called overweight and asked if I wanted children as an afterthought.
I spoke to the Practice Manager then next day about the appointment after I had been caused to have multiple mental health episodes. She showed genuine warmth and sensitivity and made me feel far better and that the matter would be dealt with.

Recent Appointment
All good except I could not have my blood test as it was too late in the day.
Even though I was offered this time for my blood to be done.
I was a bit confused but not the end of the world.

Good
Had a few bad experiences in the past
Had a blood test recently that was good. Went in with my children last week and that was dealt with really well.
In the past some of the previous drs lacked any kind of professionalism and or bed side manner. However the new staff appear to be bringing a new sense of life and pride in their work and long may it continue, and improve further. I have a renewed hope for the surgery and now wishing to stay to see how it goes, but I was close to changing surgeries prior to this.

Always reassuring
Staff are always welcoming. Sign up was a breeze! Follow on appointments when needed a year later was readily available within two weeks for non emergencies. Clean and tidy. Approachable receptionists. And oh Dr. Anthony Onuchukwu is gold!
