Calm & Gentle Dental

My first appointment with Calm and Gentle Dental care yesterday was very well organised, the receptionist was so friendly and helpful and explained everything to me i felt safe and secure especially in these difficult times.The care I received during my consultation and then first treatment was amazing,I usually get very anxious ,but felt very comfortable and at ease.I am going back tomorrow for more treatments and am not worried in the slightest as I know I'm in safe hands.I highly recommend the practice,and if you have a fear of dentist or anxiety this is definitely the place to visit.

Had one of the best hygiene visits yesterday with Shalin Sharma. Very gentle, thorough and friendly. Exactly what you look for to keep up those routine visits! thank you Shalin :)

These guys are life savers, I challenge anyone to have as big of a phobia as I do, and they have managed to get me in and do the work needed to get me back smiling and out of pain! Everyone is wonderful from the reception to the dentist! I had some fairly serious work done and didn’t feel a thing!

I had to visit my dentist with a tooth which was barely staying in my mouth, having wobbled itself loose over the course of about 12 months. My tooth's route had become unbearably painful! I am seriously nervous of visiting and dentist, to the point where I have actually fainted in OTHER dental surgeries!! till I went to 'CALM AND GENTLE, RUSTINGTON. It is easy to make an appointment, and, very importantly, VERY Covid 19 SAFE!! Graham my dentist, and Vanessa the very lovely receptionist were very kind and caring, as was the very understanding dental nurse. We all realised that I actually needed an extraction!! I was so nervous I had lost the use of my hands, because I was shaking so much. But, I need not have worried. Graham gave me the mouth numbing injection, (which did, of course, sting!). But then, within 3 mins. I felt totally NOTHING, and the tooth was OUT!! I bit down on some gauze for about half an hour, but only needed one lot of pain killer, as my mouth stopped hurting. I slept very well, all night, and woke totally FINE!! THANKYOU so much to Graham and his team at Covid safe CALM AND GENTLE DENTIST SURGERY, RUSTINGTON. I may have totally overcome my possible fear of dentists. ... They really are that good! I would highly recommend them to anyone. 😁👍

After moving down from London..lockdown etc..i stupidly hadnt registered with a dentist. Lost top part of a tooth then the filling...needless to say agony..after 15 phone calls.. my Husband found calm and gentle..i rung and the lovely voice on the ither end of the phone. Said yes they could help...i was booked in the next morning with Graham ..very calm friendly went thru everything with me...and i came out feeling so much better...i couldnt thank Graham enough..kind and patient...im not brillant..lol

Calm and Gentle provide excellent dental treatment, and highly recommended. Had dental work done with Pieter, who is very professional and puts you at ease. I will be coming back for more dental treatment in near future.

Friendly warm welcome from the recptionness dentist are polite and all staff make u feel welcome makes me feel nice and relaxed there makes going to them even better with how can hold a convo with recption when there not busy also very quick times to get seen and appointments defently recomend

I am an exceptionally nervous patient who has incredibly bad anxiety. Having historically avoided the dentist to my detriment. But I am definitely a changed person following my treatment at Calm & Gentle. You could not ask for a more understanding, kind and non-judgemental team of people not to mention the pain free treatment. For anyone who struggles with dental anxiety I cannot recommend Calm & Gentle enough.

**Update*** Been through some changes. Worked hard to ensure quality maintained. However...subscription a bit hit and miss. Not every six months and hygienist no longer aligned to tag onto dentist appointment, itself over and done with in just 10 minutes. Previously kept waiting over 30 mins to see dentist It feels like previous high standards are starting to slip. Three years ago (moved on since): *** I cannot speak highly enough of Calm and Gentle Dental Care. I had been on borrowed time with a large back tooth and it was down to root canal or an extraction. After a truly terrible and exceptionally painful experience elsewhere attempting root canal surgery, my confidence was completely shattered. I took the plunge and booked myself in with Calm and Gentle opting for an extraction. From the outset Calm and Gentle could not have been more caring and professional. This was not an easy procedure and yet Dr. Bell (sic now retired and no longer working for Calm and Gentle) simply took it in his stride. When he said there may be a little pain, there was none. I asked when the extraction would be finished and he calmly stated that it was already done and was in the process of adding some extra stitches for good measure! Better still when the painkillers wore off all I experienced was a mild soreness and a few days later, my teeth now feel better than ever before! 100% score for professionalism, bedside manner and quality of service. I'll be back for regular dental maintenance for sure. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant dentist can’t recommend them enough will defiantly be using them again very good and definitely lives up to the name calming and very good at what they do very impressed

When entering the surgery we were greeted with a very polite, friendly and caring receptionist. Calm and gentle are very Safety conscious and everything that can be done to keep everyone safe seems to be present. The whole procedure went well with little discomfort. All the staff are very professional.
