After a lifetime’s self-consciousness about my severely overcrowded and misaligned lower teeth, which I believed were beyond improvement, Calm & Gentle were the first practice ever to offer a solution. Following an initial consultation, I elected to embark on a course of ‘Invisalign’ treatment, still with a degree of scepticism, but am delighted to report that the outcome has exceeded my expectations. The instinct to hide my teeth from public view has disappeared for the first time in many decades.
I can now proudly display a regular row of teeth and I am indebted to Fariba for her expertise and grateful for the courtesy and professionalism experienced at this practice. My thanks to all for their ceaseless enthusiasm and encouragement to persevere with this effective course of treatment.

I was so nervous and my anxiety high, the staff and the dentist was brilliant. Talked me through everything and put my mind at ease. Made me feel relaxed and did not hurt either. PPE is excellent . The dentist that treated me she was brilliant, professional and such a lovely person. All staff wonderful.

I have had a great experience !!, one my fillings came out and Calm and Gentle sorted out very quickly !, they gave me an appointment for the following day !!... Riba and her team , Karen and Lilli !!, all members of the team are very friendly and they offer first class customer service !!. No doubt they are a great Dental team !!.. very clean (Covid-19) and they are also very professional !!

Cracked teeth and tooth ache not what you want to happen especially during lockdown, but calm and gentle dental surgery rustington got me in very quickly , assessed by Graham what needed doing and all done within an acceptable time frame . Everyone in the surgery have been nothing but great, had a follow up phone call from the surgery after my appointments to ask if all was ok , would certainly recommend this dental surgery

Amazing service by professional competent and caring staff. Everyone is just lovely there. My husband has a morbid fear and is quite okay going I wouldn’t say he enjoys it but that is due to any rational fear no one could do anything more to make him more relaxed and feel comfortable the staff are simply amazing thank you.

Following an initial consultation I returned to have a tooth removed and an additional tooth put on an existing plate (all done on the same day). I was very nervous but Pieter has a wonderful calming professional manner and put me at ease immediately. Hardly felt the injections or tooth being removed. Would highly recommend if you are anxious about visiting a dentist. Have already booked to go back and have more work done.

I visited calm and gentle to have a wisdom tooth extracted under sedation. I was extremely anxious about the whole process, however all the staff made me feel so welcome and at ease straight away. Pieter performed the extraction and was true to their motto of ‘calm and gentle’. A few hours later, I write this review with minimal pain and wondering why I got so stressed about the whole situation. I would highly recommend calm and gentle if like me you may feel anxious about a procedure. Amazing service and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again if needed.

I had an urgent appointment during the Covid lockdown and was very happy with how it went. The safety of both patients and staff was very well taken care off. The doctor, the nurse and the receptionist were all lovely and the treatment went very well. I was reassured and checked that I’m doing OK during the peocedure (new crown) - everybody true to the practice name. The practice manager was also very helpful when I was arranging my appointment. All in all a great service.

After many years of painful and unpleasant experiences, I became terrified of visiting the dentist and would often flee the waiting room, in the early 1990's I was recommended Hanover House Dental Practice and have not looked back since, I have mainly seen 4 dentists during this time and all have been wonderful, Pieter is exceptional and calm and gentle describes the experience perfectly. I have seen Shalin for about 2 years and have been very satisfied.
Would highly recommend to anyone.
