The idea of my wisdom tooth being painfully yanked out had left me paralysed with fear, until yesterday, when I paid my first visit to Calm & Gentle. Their name is in their nature, for all my fears and concerns were never realised. I came from London to see Pieter because everyone had raved about him and now I see why. As I lay there sweating profusely, Pieter chatted to me like we were just having a beer. His relaxing, cheery tone drowned my fear with a wave of distraction through intriguing conversation. What I had anticipated to be a brutally painful affair went by without a wince and I was left feeling slightly silly about how much I had worried. Pieter was excellent and Amy was superb! I don't usually bother with leaving reviews but I felt obligated to in the hope that I may ease a future patients nerves - trust me, you are in very good hands!

Just been to see Pieter for my first ever filling. I was very nervous as everyone said to me how horrible it can be, but Pieter and his assistant made me feel very relaxed and confident in what they were doing. I didnt feel a thing! Would highly recommend Calm and Gentle Dental Care to everyone.

Dentists do not generally rate very highly on favorite places to go.
Since joining this practice I have revised my opinion. The name Calm and Gentle sums them up perfectly. The people here tell you what is happening in layman's terms and make sure that you, the patient, are comfortable. Everything appears to be run for your benefit and convenience.
I have been to dentists in the UK, US, Australia and France in the past and this really is the best dentist I have ever been to.

Friendly, good quality dentistry. Without exception the staff here are all friendly and helpful. I don't personally suffer from fear of the dentist, but if I did I imagine this would be the best place to go as it has a cheerful, relaxed vibe. The dentistry is great quality, and at reasonable prices compared to what I'd been quoted elsewhere. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend based on my experience.

I lost a tooth because of a failed root canal and was keen to fill the gap as quickly as possible. I went along to see Pieter at Hanover House and he suggested a dental implant. I really had not considered an implant, I thought it would be too painful and expensive! I was wrong, following the implant placement I was fine, went about my normal business and had no time away from work! The crown was fitted recently and I feel normal again. Pieter and the team were great, everything was explained and I felt fully informed at all times...I would have no hesitation in recommending the clinic, they were great! Thank you all...
