This was something I was dreading as extractions I had when I was younger had been awful. Today was amazing - Pieter was fantastic, everything done carefully and seemed basically pain free - so grateful for his care and understanding.

An aptly named practice - they went over and beyond to help me sort out my dental problems. Also very helpful receptionist. So refreshing to experience such a caring and professional team. Would highly recommend.

I had a great experience at Calm and Gentle dentist. They are very king and explain everything in so much detail. I am planning to have a crown fitted which they organised very quickly. Very happy with the whole experience.

The most amazing dentist!

Calm and Gentle Dental Care is an exceptional dentist, all staff are so welcoming, kind and accommodating, they make you feel at ease when you get to the practice and during any treatment.
Pieter is such a fantastic dentist, making any treatment completely pain free. He is so calm and makes it feel like you are not even at the dentist!
Could never go anywhere else for my treatments. Dental nurse Jade is wonderful at her job, always makes me feel at ease.

Lack of empathy
This is a review for Calm & Gentle Dental Care - Rustington
I went to Calm and Gentle to see my old dentist but it was a new dentist. I needed a tooth stuck back in but in the process I maintained an injury which caused a lot of pain which months on I am still struggling as it is not healing. I told the dentist a few days later but not too much was made of it. I am still struggling. I went back for a check up and the dentist checked it and said ahh yes I must have pushed too hard but that was that. I still had to pay for having the tooth stuck in and also my check up. I am not really happy as eating is painful.
I would have liked a bit more input to the injury and maybe not to be charged for one of the appointments. I would like someone to get back to me on this. I also did pop in to talk to one of the receptionists but they had no interest, I do think they were agency though.

Thanks to Peter and the entire staff I've gone from being a very nervous patient to being quite relaxed about visiting the dentist. Been going to Calm & Gentle for about 7 months and had fillings, extraction and implants in addition to hygiene visits. The thing that most surprises me is I've not felt anything when my mouth is being numbed, gone are the days of feeling any sort of pin prick almost as soon as I get on the chair. I almost look forward to going now!
