Calm & Gentle Dental

After many years of neglecting my teeth, I became extremely anxious in going to a dentist. After conducting many hours of research I managed to strike up the courage to call Calm & Gentle!! From the moment of discussing my situation with Gemma I was put at ease and was made an appointment to see Peter Claassen. Attending clinic today I was very anxious feeling ashamed and embarrassed however, at no point did I feel judged. From the moment I was introduced to Peter, he listened to me intently, understood my situation and gently encouraged me to move forward with his assessment. Throughout the process Peter and his assistant talked me through their findings and kept checking on how I was feeling. At the end I was taken through the plan and any questions were answered clearly and concisely. The whole experience with Calm & Gentle was literally Calm & Gentle thus matching their brand and values. I have booked to go back for remedial works with no anxious thoughts or feelings. These guys really are superb, would have no hesitation in recommending their services especially to those who like me find the situation challenging. As the saying goes ‘they do exactly what it says on the tin’ Thank you so much Peter & your team!!

I had a follow up appointment today with Josh, one of the Hygienists, they immediately settled any concerns by explaining the process and easing me into the treatment. All the way through they continued to check on my status which relaxed me no end. The results are fantastic, should have undertaken this a long time ago, feel so much better and happier within myself. Great job once again, thank you!

Today I had my planned remedial treatment with Pieter. No anxiety existed although I didn’t know what to expect. I was greeted calmly and after some general conversation it was explained to me exactly what I could expect throughout each process. All the way through I was checked to see if I was ok and could have called a halt at anytime! I felt more than comfortable with the entire experience and at no point felt pressured or more importantly in any pain or discomfort.

My preconceived thoughts and ideas of what the overall negative experience with a dentist would be like could not have been further apart from my actual experience with such a professional, accommodating and understanding team at Calm & Gentle. A credit to their profession and one I would most certainly recommend. Thank you so much!

I had my tooth removed today when I walked in a felt warm and the team was incredible Michelle the practise manager was amazing 10/10 lovely bubbly person the dentist and nurses was amazing as well very considerate

I felt anxious at the work I needed on my teeth, Liam and the dental nurse were kind, patient and very professional. They did an excellent job and explained the procedure clearly and kindly beforehand. Would highly recommend!

I was a new patient to Calm and Gentle and the check was nowhere near Calm and Gentle. It was quite the opposite. I am going back to my old private dentist.

Had to have a crown so the idea of an hour at the dentist not my idea of fun however it was painless and it was fun. We chatted and they put me at ease and the time flew by. The team really are calm and gentle and I would recommend to anyone who doesn’t like going to the dentist … this team will change your mind and it started from the receptionist who was funny and chatty to the actual dental team thank you all.

Very much a can do attitude from the lovely Gemma on reception. Nothing is too much trouble. The perfect team member for front of house. I have been a patient hear for 15+ yrs. Teresa the hygienist is just fab. Her skills knowledge shine. Teresa wants the very best outcome in regards to your ongoing oral health. Pieter provides the reassurance when I see him for my dental check up. Thoroughly recommend this dental practice and the team.
