Same day appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

The Doctor I saw seemed nice but needed to get a second opinion with a colleague who didn’t even see me. The prescription provided is unobtainable anywhere due to shortages countrywide, shouldn’t they know this? I wasn’t asked if there was anything else bothering me or if there was anything else they could do to help.

Firstly, I want to thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Secondly, no, we would not know if there were shortages on medication unless we were told - we generally get told about urgent medications, but we wouldn't know about shortages as this is a pharmacy issue and is a separate entity to a GP surgery.
I am not sure if you brought these issues up or not in the appointment as it is unclear, but there is limited time to be able to discuss other ailments, as you can imagine, we have lots of patients to see daily.

Excellent appointment with a superb doctor. Very competent and delightful to talk to. Arranged some tests for me which were booked by a very friendly receptionist. Have been assisted by the same receptionist previously at Allaway Surgery, always a delight to see. Thank you. Both doctor and receptionist were excellent.

The pods in the waiting room are not sufficient to take accurate BP readings so required an appointment. The nurse was great and the BP was okay but that appointment could have been given to someone else if the BP pods were useful
