Nurse Mrs Jane Groves is the perfect example of professionalism in healthcare. They are skilled, compassionate, and attentive, making patients feel safe and respected at all times. Their calm, reassuring approach and dedication to quality care are truly commendable. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the receptionist that morning.

Medication Review

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Received planned call from Doctor to discuss my recent blood test results. Was able to discuss the effects previous mediation may have had on me, so was prescribed a different brand to see how I get on. Arranged next blood test for thee months away after medication has had time to take effect. Felt I was listened to and will try the new pathway for getting my condition under control.

Never listens

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

Was told to ask my GP for a sleep clinic referral for sleep apnea and was told to contact mental health team! This always seems to be the response of this surgery! It would be comical if I wasn't under talking changes already and it was them that pushed me to get that referral and the surgery would have known that. It's not been the first time this surgery have ignored other agencies' requests for medical referrals.
If you have a chronic disease, they are awful.
Last month they decided to take the route

It is a pleasure to use the Heyward Road Surgery. The doctor I saw was excellent as were the receptionists. The waiting room was clean and pleasant and Heyward Road is much easier to get to than the hub.

Once I got to the doctor I cannot fault how I was treated. Unfortunately getting to have an appointment involved a routine appointment was not ideal and to make an e consult. This was attempted but was told I needed a routine appointment. I then had to wait another week for that.

Paulsgrove Surgery

I would definitely prefer to visit this surgery than Cosham, although Cosham is right near me, the whole experience at Cosham is always stressful and not very pleasant at times, Paulsgrove is run more professionally and calm, the receptionists are more friendly and thoughtful!
