Urgent appointment

I needed an urgent appointment. I was seen very quickly and referred to hospital for further tests. Liaison between GP and hospital was speedy and resulted in a quick diagnosis. An excellent service.

Crookhorn Lane Surgery

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

I visited the surgery to hand in a sample. I was second in a short queue of two people. The person in front of me completed her business and departed but before I had a chance to speak with the receptionist the door of one of the Doctor's rooms opened and two other patients were led to the reception counter and positioned before me with no reason or explanation given for not being positioned behind me or asked to wait for me to complete my business first. A lengthy discussion then took place between reception staff and the aforementioned patients during which five other people joined me in the queue.
A second receptionist who had been working on a computer then came to the counter and criticized me for not making her aware that I was waiting for attention. She complained that my positioning had made it difficult for her to see me.
I don't agree........ the small crowd of bodies positioned in front of me would have obstructed her view. There being four in total conversing through the Perspex screen.
