I arrived, tried the machine, it said to go to the reception, the young lady was very helpful said : wait in this room, I didn’t have to wait long, the Doctor called me, very nice, efficient and lovely!

Thank you for your feedback and rating. If you have a concern about your diabetes then you can ask for a task to be sent to the diabetic admin. They may then book an appropriate appointment, or may ask for a blood test to be carried out before a call is arranged. If your concern is more urgent in nature, then you should call the urgent line at 8am to be added to the triage list. If you are ever asked to have a blood test, please ensure you book this promptly as this may well result in a consultation with a member of the diabetic team. Thank you

I arrived early and the machine told me I was next. 2 people went in before me. My appointment was 25 minutes late. When asking if they used butterfly needles she said not usually, I said without one she would not get my blood. Finally one was found but she still didn’t manage it. Wanting to try again I declined, as a renal patient my veins are small and precious to me. I think the fasting blood test is unnecessary as my blood glucose is checked regularly as I have bloods at the renal unit every 2weeks. I don’t eat before them so even though they say random they are in fact fasting.

Very nice receptionist, clear, concise instructions where to sit etc. Dr Mosley was very nice and helpful although I am still waiting for instructions on how to have the x-ray we discussed.
