Asked for a tetanus jab to be given after having blood test, only waited a few minutes.The only thing is I have a problem with the arm the tetanus jab was given in, seems to be aching a lot and restricting movement since.

I arrived ahead of time as requested. Upon logging in, I was advised that I was second in the queue and would be seen in approx. 6 minutes. I was then kept waiting for nearly 30 minutes from the time of my appointment, not my time of arrival. I appreciate that the patient ahead of me probably needed more time than was expected, but the message that I would be seen in 6 minutes or so raises expectations, which on this occasion were definitely not met.

We are sorry that your appointment was delayed far more than expected, often this is due to clinical of the patient prior, often patient's attend and require more time that the appointment allows, but it is needed. The reception team are not always aware of the delays as they occur due to the number of clinicians working at the same time, especially as this is one of our largest sites, however we will share your experience with the team and where changes where possible.
