I can see that you re-booked using the link given, unfortunately there must not have been any appointments available at that time at Somerstown when you booked. Re your blood pressure, it is down to the practitioner whether they have capacity to do extra in the appointment, a blood test slot is only for 5 minutes, and I can see that the appointment had already exceeded the 5 minutes, our apologies for not being able to get this done in one appointment for you.

Not good, often feel not listened to. Recently saw a GP and when he asked me a question answered it himself. He seemed to ridicule me even in his notes on my app its the same. Didn't even get out of his chair to listen to my chest in fact he placed the stethoscope on my collar bone over numerous clothes. Was sent away without any explanation as to why I was feeling so ill.

The doctor was very attentive

It was my first time face to face with a doctor ( finally) and that's very important to a patient that is struggling in many ways and feeling blue. Usually is 5 minutes on the phone which makes us feel very uncomfortable and rejected, right?! So, it was very important and the doctor was very attentive to my problem.

Reminder received just in case forgotten, good idea, arrived on time, pleasant staff, short wait, procedure explained and carried out with little discomfort. Once finished asked to wait in reception for result. After a short wait advised test reviewed and ok to go. Good to be able to use local surgery rather than need to travel to Portsmouth
