My original routine appointment had been cancelled, I was told to contact the urgent appointment line, and was given a one to one appointment same day however I checked in and waited nearly 40 minutes, my husband then checked with reception and they told me I was in the wrong waiting area! Nobody thought to check the fact I'd checked in and was waiting where told!

Consulated 2 Pharmacists over Christmas and prescribed an array of antibiotics, creams and tablets. Can never get an appointment for love nor money so sent in a ELine Consultation Monday evening. Waited until Thursday (29th in the phone cue) chasing up what was going on. Received a text message Friday morning for a face to face appointment - great I thought....finally...unfortunately no date was given for the 'long awaited' appointment. Called the Surgery (27th in the cue) - apologies given and date confirmed as 4th February. After paying my National Insurance for over 45 years the service myself & others no doubt receive when trying to see a GP is beyond ridiculous. I am doing all that I possibly can to not be admitted into hospital due to QA also being 'on its knees' and I do not want to be plonked in a corridor again for almost 18hrs whilst they try and find me a bed. NHS 111 will only say 'Go to a hospital'. This Country is completely broken. Hopefully with this 'long awaited' appointment in another 8 days time will help me and prescribe the correct medication needed to keep me out of hospital.

My appointment was on time. I received great help from the desk staff about logging in to the site internet and the support I received from my Asthma/COPD nurse was excellent.

I thought the whole visit was very quick, and well-organised. I reported to the receptionist, sat down for 7/8 minutes, then was called through into a small room. A nice lady gave me a tetanus booster, then took a sample of my blood for transmission to a laboratory. She explained that the surgery had to undertake a huge number of blood tests (1,000 per week!) and was incredibly efficient. After 3/4 minutes I was free to walk out of the surgery. Overall, I thought the whole experience was most orderly and well-organised - thanks to all concerned!

Everything was as expected and I am pleased with the outcome.
