Annual diabetic review

The nurse was thorough and covered every part of the annual diabetic review.
She was very pleased that I had already done a blood pressure reading and weighed myself, while I was still in the waiting room.

Blood pressure

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Went to Crookhorn Lane Surgery for a check of my blood pressure which had spiked about the limit I had been told about previously. Seen on time by Health Support Worker, blood pressure was checked and found to be normal. I received advice on how to do future home test readings. Left feeling relieved and happy with the care and helpful advice given.

Very helpful staff; clean and tidy reception and waiting areas. Prompt appointment with staff member who was mindful of patent’s mild dementia issues and need for patient support. Receptionist was very helpful in producing a medical authority for patient’s carer for future appointments and contact and noting the patient’s records about the appointment of attorneys under LPA’s.

(1) On the 21st October I attended the PGP surgery in Cosham for a flu jab (not Kingston Crescent Surgery). Could the surgery venue and date be included on the working feedback email?
(2) Re "How satisfied are you with the outcome of your treatment?"- for a flu jab this depends on whether I get the flu this winter! There was no option to say this, and I gave it 5 stars anyway, being an optimist!

I have been trying to get someone to look at mums blood blistered legs since 6th of November. Doctor rang
8th November to say he was not concerned about mum but would like some blood test doing, but Mark from frailty team has already requested district nurse to go in, still waiting.
I am absolutely appalled at this treatment, shes 94, it's very stressful for me.
I now have to take her with great difficulty to Cosham to see Dr Mark 4.30 on 18th November when her surgery is at the bottom of her road, I could push her in the wheelchair there.
I am on the verge of going to the papers
This is causing stress to me and the carers who leave me a note every day about her legs, they are very concerned about her and my sister and wife.
What is the slogan? NHS is there for you ????
