We do offer these appointments at different times in the day to try to provide access at times that are suitable for all patients. We will only cancel an appointment if we have no capacity to reappoint.

Shingles jab

Excellent !!! Went to surgery for a walk in Shingles jab. Very efficient, seen within 10 minutes and given a Tetanus jab that was due at the same time.

Well I hadn't been for my appointment because I had a sore throat. Rebooked at Kingston surgery for this Thursday. Thanks to your system. It's pm not the after dark one's like before. Because I'm a public transport passenger.
But when I came beforehand the Dr was very nice.

Compassionate, understanding

This is a review for Heyward Road Surgery & Practice

I had my appointment with Jackie who is simply compassionate, understanding, listening and able to relate and empathise which is so important for a person who has severe health conditions. Later I felt frantic when I learnt that I needed to get a letter from a doctor as evidence that I could not attend an important hearing for medical reasons which was time sensitive. I went back to Heyward Road Surgery and the receptionist (Melanie) was warm, helpful and empathetic and sent a message to Jackie who came up with a solution that was the best one in the situation. I left feeling much less frantic than when I had arrived. Thank you to them both.
