Appointment

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

Find it really difficult just to get an answer on the telephone.
The nurse who administered my last injection put me in considerable pain for 36 hours...I was unable to move without extreme pain and was not able to sleep at all that night. ive no idea what she did to me and I've lost all confidence in the surgery to deliver the treatment I need including another injection in 2days without causing me more pain and stress.
As a footnote, i would like it known that the injection I have shouldn't hurt.

With regards to your constructive comments -We currently have 1 locum GP all other GPs are either Partners, or GPs employed by the Practice. All medication requests should be requested with a turnaround time of 10 days to ensure received by the time you require and avoid you running out. Your medical records will be up to date with any direct interactions with the Practice however, we can only update information via other services if the relevant documentation is sent to us. If you do believe that we have something is missing, please do contact us and we will assist or signpost you accordingly.

Good with preventative treatment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I have found the practice to be very good with preventative treatment, with a range of services to help with conditions. A recent blood test found that I was pre diabetic so I was offered the pre diabetic preventative course, which last 9 months. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Crookhorn Lane Surgery

I am not at all sure why I received this. A while ago I had a phone call from Crookhorn surgery to arrange a telephone consultation from a doctor who used (like many) to work out of Crookhorn - but I did not visit the surgery.
I've said this before - the review requests need to be quicker AND they need to list the date/time of the interaction/visit/appointment/phone call. If I'm going to be honest about service, I need to know what I'm shouting about.
As for the reason - It was for X-Ray results - two sets. Dr only wanted to talk about one - said was bat - but seemingly not a lot to be done. Bit of a shame when the problems between them keep me effectively housebound in the daytime, and keep me awake most of the night. Arrgghh.
