To get a cyst removed from my left temple.
However my records were not up to date, as only had photos from Dec 22 and not the ones submitted in May 24 and details of phone calls with medical staff.

Thank you for your feedback. Your medical records are kept up-to-date however, there can be a delay between information being uploaded dependent on how and when it is received. I hope you were still able to continue with the procedure and did not have to be reappointed. We will share this experience with our team and making changes where we can.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that we were unable to blood, there can be a number of reasons why this can happen and guidance is to only try twice and then to reappoint, or refer elsewhere if appropriate. We do offer a lot of blood test appointments each week however, waiting for a week is an appropriate timeframe.

It was very upsetting and a disgrace. I was told I was not by their computer vulnerable to be given a jab. As I told them it was NHS service who told me to make appointment via computer and them twice telling me to attend reminder. I was shocked when they looked on computer and said I was on the screen to get a Covid jab. I went home and got my mobile phone and went back to show Covid staff your email to make appointment for it. He reluctantly gave it to me but this whole incident upset me very much. If a mistake has been made by NHS services you should inform surgery staff. There is a flaw in your communication if NHS services request something but surgery does not get notified. Could someone apologise or find out how an error has been made. Am I a vulnerable patient or not. How did I get chosen to have the jab. As I said the nurse or whoever he was gave me the jab but reluctantly because he saw my message from NHS.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that this has caused you so much upset, this would never our intention. We follow the strict guidance provided when immunising patients the cohorts are not set by us. The Spring campaign this year was greatly reduced compared to previous with a smaller cohort and only offered to:

1. Adults aged 75 or over
2. Residents in a care home for older adults
3. Individuals aged 6 months or over who are immunosuppressed

Immunosuppression due to disease or illness including patients undergoing chemotherapy leading to immunosuppression, patients undergoing radical radiotherapy, solid organ transplant recipients, bone marrow or stem cell transplant recipients, HIV infection at all stages, multiple myeloma or genetic disorders affecting the immune system (e.g. IRAK-4, NEMO, complement disorder, SCID). Individuals who are receiving immunosuppressive or immunomodulating biological therapy including, but not limited to, anti-TNF, alemtuzumab, ofatumumab, rituximab, patients receiving protein kinase inhibitors or PARP inhibitors, and individuals treated with steroid sparing agents such as cyclophosphamide and mycophenolate mofetil. Individuals treated with or likely to be treated with systemic steroids for more than a month at a dose equivalent to prednisolone at 20mg or more per day for adults. Anyone with a history of haematological malignancy, including leukaemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Those who require long term immunosuppressive treatment for conditions including, but not limited to, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid.

We are advised that we must not provide outside this scope and we ensure that we only invite and appoint patients that are within these cohorts. We are sorry if you received an invite from outside our Practice however, this would be beyond our control.
