Kingston Crescent Surgery

The nurse did her best but failed to take blood from my left arm, had 3 vials of blood from my right arm leaving a massive bruise, not her fault, otherwise this surgery is great, we are lucky that they take the time to contact you when you need tests taken, we are lucky to have a caring professional looking after us.

Crookhorn Lane Surgery

Received text offering blood test, logged on to site, easy to book at local Crookhorn surgery at a time suitable to me. On arrival signed in, shortly after called in by pleasant nurse, explained what was to happen and results should be available the following day which they were available on NHS web site.

Kingston Crescent Surgery - B12 Injection

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I arrived at my appointment which I booked myself weeks in advance, only to be told that I cannot have my B12 injection as I booked it one week too early. The nurse/healthcare assistant apologised and said that the doctor did not allow her to do it. I was told that I will have to rebook it gor anther time and date as Kingston Crescent or any othet Portsmouth Surgeries did not have any availability. I had to book an appointment in Paulsgrove in a place I have never bern to during rush hour, hoping that I will be able to make it in time. There was no warning or any other information on the systen telling me that I am not allowed my B12 injection one week earlier than my due date. I did not get the customary message to remind me of my B12 like I used to do previously. I did not find any information on any NHS websites about not being allowed B12 injection one week earlier.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you were unable to have your B12 as it was too early. You should be advised at your appointment when you next one would be due and that it cannot be given prior. Alternatively the surgery can book your next appointment for you when due. We cannot put a warning on our website due to the number of regular injections that are given that would also need to be covered.

Great call back service & treatment

Phoned in as wound painful. Left number for call back, which happened very quickly. Helpful receptionist arranged phone consultation and asked ne to send photos. Phone call from Nurse Practitioner asked me to come in same day. Emily Seeking, Nurse Practitioner, saw wound and prescribed necessaries with clear instructions and advice.

The parking is awful! If you're lucky enough to find a place on the street it's murder trying to manoeuvre out again. Hate it! I didn't want to go to Cosham House anyway. I live across the road from Crookhorn but for some reason they didn't have 'a suitable appointment' even though my appointment was 14 days hence. I don't want to go to Cosham House again.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that it was difficult to park this is a city wide issue and is not something that we are contracted to provide. You can of course choose to attend your preferred location of Crookhorn although this may lead to a delay in your gaining an appointment.
