The nurse I saw was lovely, she really put me at my ease as it was a painful procedure for me at the time or could have been. She also reassured me on further examinations and gave me some useful information to go away with. Couldn't have been better.

Trying to book a blood test

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

After being diagnosed with 3 separate cancers last year, my liver enzymes have been slowly increasing. They have now started to reach concerning levels, as per my last blood test. When I called to try and book a blood test I was unable to get past the call centre. I was told that if everyone who requested a blood test got one then they would be inundated. Consequently I have had to pay for a private blood test. Very, very poor all round.

Good communication. Professional. Dealt with the routine nature of my appointment with efficiency and the nurse even offered to carry out two planned vaccinations thus saving me a visit back to Surgery for the following week.

Lovely to se that waiting room has had a spruce up. It looks very bright and neat with, plenty of information posters on the boards for all things a patient might be interested in.

Log in screen was used. Indicated two people in front. Waited approx 10mins over allotted time. ECG carried out effectively by nurse and then waited further 5 mins for duty doctor to give OK.
