Cosham Park House Surgery

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

The person I saw was very helpful and checked other skin lesions I had already had checked at the pharmacy to put my mind at rest. This was great as one other than the one I was particularly concerned about would also benefit from the gel I was prescribed. The pharmacist I’d seen had said it was just dry skin.
She also reviewed my medication which was proving to be a mammoth task! I was delighted by the time I left.

Blood test

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

This was a further appointment to give a blood test for my diabetic review as unfortunately the nurse couldn’t get blood from either arm or a hand. I have always been a problem but I downed rather a lot of water this morning hoping it would help and luckily the nurse managed first time.

My appointment time was spot on and my diabetic nurse was very good and patient. The Portsdown group practice are quite good lately but both my husband and I say we NEVER actually see a Dr !!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, and for your kind words. We have a very large multi disciplinary team - something we have worked hard to introduce and are very proud of. If you need to see a GP, our trained care navigators will advise you of this. The best thing to do is call our team on Option 2 10am - 1pm to discuss your medical query and determine who the most appropriate person would be. This is a GP in some cases, but with our vast team of Health Professionals, it may be that another colleague is more appropriate.

Two vaccines

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I came 5 minutes early for my vaccination appointment, when I sat in the chair they called me immediately, within less than 3 minutes I was done with my two vaccines, it was quick and the doctor had very light hands, he was great when he injected the vaccine barely felt the needle. Great job.
