Very poor communication with staff, example receptionists, mum had a nurse appt, when checked time was not aware of appt, turned up eventually but reception did not check appt which caused confusion, very poor service.

Cosham Park House Surgery

Getting to a doctor for a face to face appointment is one of the most difficult things in the world. My only route was 111, St.Mary's Emergency Clinic, 30 minute phone call to Portsdown practice, phoned back by a doctor, appointment made.
Once with the doctor everything is fine and a good service given.

Attempt to get an appointment

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I came into the surgery (1:20 pm) to Book appointments for my Covid, Shingles and Tetanus vaccinations. I was told that if I came back after 2pm I could get a walk-in appointment for the Shingles & Tetanus vaccines, which was great. Unfortunately I was told that ALL THE COVID appointments were already gone and it was only the 4th April! The vaccinations aren't even available until the 22nd? I was told I would have to travel to Crookhorn or Fratton if they had any appointments, I'm almost 69, with Rheumatoid Arthritis and no access to transport.
I asked if you would be getting more supplies in and couldn't get an answer, I have to get vaccinated because I'm immunosuppressed and the Hospital reminds me to get it done.

Heyward Road Surgery & Practice

Was amazed to get an appointment but at my actual surgery which has been without a doctor present almost since it merged with a big practice! Hope this continues.
A new doctor who was very polite, professional and offered a chaperone for an examination if I would prefer one.
Surgery very clean, tidy, quiet and much more welcoming. The lady on the desk I haven't seen before either but again very polite and professional.
