A first class consultation

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Had a consultation with Dr. Simon Donhou at CPH. The depth of explanation telling me the probable cause of my condition and how this could be proved was excellent. Can only say this was a first class consultation putting right previous causes. I hope the surgery carries out his recommendations.

Very pleased with the appointment from start to finish. Only issue is with the NHS guide lines that are only to save money and not for patients well being. Which has nothing to do with the doctors.

Friendly and efficient

Blood test

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

My original test was booked for Monday but cancelled due to staff sickness, just proves even the best get sick, so using the app I rebooked for Thursday at the Cosham clinic. Parking's a nightmare but I got lucky, just arrived in time, signed in but as I've never been to the Cosham surgery before I didn't take notice of which waiting room I was to wait in (there's 3). l had to go to reception and the helpful receptionist, no problem it happens quite often. Once in the correct room I was only waiting for a max of 5 minutes before the phlebotomist called me in, I'm normally a nightmare to get blood from but the lady had no trouble and I was on my way in a couple of minutes. Great service, I don't know why so many people knock our local surgeries, without them we'd all be dead.

The nurse was incredibly thorough

I was actually seen quickly and the nurse was incredibly thorough with my blood pressure check. Even querying my medication and promptly resolving an issue with the dosage.

I saw a nurse for a respiratory review. She was polite and respectful, listening to my comments and answering my questions. She was pleased that I had brought my peak flow record with me and photocopied it for my records. She was efficient and thorough, and referred me on for further testing.
