This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I've been registered af the practice for a year and seen doctors and nurses there a few times at Cosham Park House and Paulsgrove. I'm most impressed, the triage and doctor call back is very good and the practice staff very friendly. The booking-in system is good and the three doctors I've seen were very helpful, thorough and professional. Thankyou.

Steroid injection in both knees

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

My recent appointment was for a steroid injection in both knees because I have mild osteoarthritis in both knees. The nurse that did the injections was brilliant as I was informed of everything that they were doing and treated me exactly as you would expect to be treated. Very pleased and I wouldn't hesitate to come back if or when I need this injection again.

Appointment with nurse

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I have been having trouble getting my blood pressure to an acceptable level after kidney removal. The nurse has been very professional, kind and considerate of my needs. The result is that my blood pressure, after many weeks of monitoring and adjusting medication, has now normalised. I felt well cared for and in safe, effective hands. Thank you Kingston Crescent for all you have done for me.

Seen more or less on-time

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Car parking seems to be an issue, even the text reminder states leave plenty of time for parking. Priority should be given to patients or equalise the appointments with their other surgeries. I was seen more or less on time, and the podiatrist seemed to be a nice enough chap. The consulting room was very warm and had to ask for the window to be opened, even he admitted it was very warm in there.

A very sweet diabetic assessment

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

My annual diabetic assessment was conducted thoroughly, professionally and by a respectful nurse with a cheerful disposition.
I felt safe and dignified and that my health issues were being assessed thoroughly and I was in good competent hands. A five star service.

Receptionist very helpful when I explained that my link to make appointment had expired (I was away) and made me a suitable appointment confirming that a thyroid test would also be done.
Checked in and only had to wait a few minutes. Blood taken by friendly and efficient lady (not a Dr so probably nurse or healthcare assistant).

When I arrived I signed in and went to reception who was very helpful. I went to the waiting and was called in by the doctor within 5 minutes. The doctor explained what he was going to do very clearly and discussed treatment options in terms I could understand.
