I was very impressed

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I was seen recently because of breathing difficulties. I was very impressed with the Doctor, who listened to what I had to say and did a lot of checks, including listening to the chest, as well as all the basic checks (BP, O2 levels, heart rate, etc). He explained the new treatment and prescribed antibiotics.

Wonderful experience

A big thank you to all the staff at Somerstown Surgery for looking after me.
I have been listened to and my health problem acknowledge, I know this time of the year is very busy therefore I'm happy to share my experience as a wonderful one. All the times when I needed to call and book an appointment, there was somebody nice talking to me and reassured me that something will be done to resolve my health problem. I am very grateful indeed.

Cosham Park House Surgery

I made an appointment for a Measles jab and used the Blood Pressure machine to check my BP while I was at the surgery. The 3 readings were high so I was advised to see the receptionist. The receptionist immediately made an appointment for me at the pharmacy so that my BP could be checked again. The reading remained high so I was advised to use a monitor for a 24 hour period. I was contacted a few days later and fitted with the mobile monitor and returned the following day for the readings to be downloaded. Within 24 hours I had been contacted by the GP to say that the readings were ok and not further appointment necessary. The service I received was excellent and was very impressed with the pharmacy who were helpful and reassuring. The collaborative working between Surgery and Pharmacy worked well. Thank you.

Urgent GP appointment arranged through NHS 111

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

A phone call from the surgery late morning confirmed an appointment for the afternoon with the GP asking whether it was OK to see a male doctor. An internal examination resulted in my being asked to take two samples at home (to return to the surgery) and I was told that a scan would be requested. I received the scan appointment within a couple of days. All staff GP, Nurse and reception were courteous and welcoming.

Last minute appointment to review COPD/asthma treatment. Gill (respiratory nurse) was very thorough and informative and specifically identified a need to change my medication. Very satisfying and helpful consultation.

I got to the appointment earlier than scheduled. I was signed in immediately and I asked if I could be seen earlier. The person at the desk said he would inform the clinician and I was told she would try to fit me in if possible. I did get seen earlier and the experience was pleasant. The practitioner was professional and gave me valuable advice.
