Efficient and pleasant

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Went for a blood test. They are always on time and very pleasant. Also did an HRT review and was surprised to get a text acknowledgment almost immediately.

Recent appointment at Paulsgrove Surgery. Excellent service from everyone. HCA Mrs Groves was very efficient and professional as well as being very welcoming and showed wonderful empathy. The receptionist was friendly and very efficient. Cannot fault the system or the people. Many thanks, your services are nothing short of faultless.

Reassuring appointment

I had an appointment for my 3-monthly blood tests for my Azathioprine levels due to Crohn’s disease. Appointment was on-time, the health care assistant was very efficient and polite, no hassle.

Let’s make one thing VERY clear - NOBODY can get appointments ANYWHERE! Why? Staffing shortages, reduced clinic times, inundation of patient requests. You cannot blame a clinic for working with what it has, I understand it is frustrating and I haven’t had any better of an experience with getting an appointment BUT the staff are friendly and shouldn’t have to deal with the verbal abuse they’re dished by patients. We need to stop blaming staff for these issues, they do not pull the strings they are simply there to do whatever they’re given to do. I have been a patient at this surgery for 8 years, if you want an appointment you’ll be persistent and tolerant enough to get one (someone has to be caller number 30). If you are in an emergency call 999 or if it’s a health concern that doesn’t require a trip to A+E then call 111 - it’s that’s simple, stay on the phone and cooperate with the healthcare system we are given. Stop using staff as scapegoats for your impatience.
