Fitted me in for the vaccination when I called into the surgery reception in person. Excellent! Only problem has been repeated texts on my mobile phone (which is not a smartphone - so I cannot go onto the link) for me to have the second jab. Which, of course, I already had. However, I think the texts have stopped now. I did try to phone in but that was not a success.

I had experienced (using a locally purchased Bloody Pressure monitor) what I believed to be high readings as shown on the monitor. My visit was to share my concerns and seek medical advice.

A very worthwhile appointment as I was able to ascertain exactly what the problem was and got advice and guidance on how to deal with it. As a result I can now take the appropriate exercises and hopefully this will take care of things. Very professional.

I had my appointment just after finishing work and did not have to wait around. It was quick and lots of information given me as to what to expect before and after.

I speak for my wife as she is not computerised. Over the last three months she has had numerous problems requiring medical assistance, and we have found that the telephone appointment system has been very much improved compared to a couple of years ago, she has had many appointments for treatment at Kingston Crescent, Crookhorn, and Somerstown surgeries, also St Mary’s walk in centre, at all these visits the staff have been very helpful competent, friendly and cheerful, they cannot be faulted.

We arrived early and logged into the onscreen booking system. My name was called soon after. I asked if my Husband could sit in on the appointment too, and the Nurse was ok with that.
I presented my Urine Sample, and answered fully the health questions required.
My Blood Pressure was taken & my Pulse rate was also measured.
I was weighed, and my feet were examined thoroughly prior to the Pin Prick sensory test.
All was fine. I drew the nurse to my legs which have dry raised patches on the front on my Shins, and on the back of both legs just above both ankles. Nurse diagnosed Cellulitis. She made it plain that I could continue with elevating both legs, to keep the swelling down, But would need to regularly apply a moisturising ointment to keep them supple. If at any time my legs become hot or very red or start splitting or leaking, I am to contact the Surgery straight away to make an appointment for treatment, to avoid any infection. I agreed to monitor the condition as discussed. I thanked the Nurse for taking the time to explaining everything. I now await feedback from my Blood Test results, and advisory review on any potential Medication change in respect of my Type 2 Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, and Asthma if needed.

I came in for a blood test. The nurse was very polite and efficient and put me at my ease. She was able to find a vein straight away and the blood test did not hurt at all. When I asked what exactly the test was for, she answered my questions and explained what some of them were.

I felt I was treated very well during this visit. The practitioner worked through my problems in a holistic way and answered all my questions and helped me with my condition.
This was a second visit as there was a misunderstanding when I made the original appointment. The practitioner had asked me to get back to him after some tests and I was seen by someone else in spite of asking for the practitioner by name.

Following an above-the-line prostate blood test result, I saw Dr Ezegbulam at short notice for a consultation. She carried out an examination of my prostate and did a urine test. She was reassuring and informative and I had full confidence in her. She will also arrange a follow-up in six weeks.

Very efficient Nurse, was very friendly and gave helpful travel advice for South America.

My blood pressure had been escalating for a while until one morning it had reached over 200 and I became extremely unwell and very scared. I telephoned at 10.00am and found myself in a much shorter than usual queue and was answered within 10 minutes. I expressed my concern and was offered an appointment with a healthcare assistant at 11.40am. Dorota (the Healthcare Assistant) is very thorough and efficient. She identified the problem almost immediately (a missing medication on my repeat prescriptions) and got a prescription delivered to me by the afternoon. I could not be more thankful!

Everyone at the surgery was very helpful.

I received excellent service from the doctor and nurse as usual. I'm very lucky to have this GP.
