Mental Health Crisis emergency appointment

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

Following a disappointing encounter with an emergency Doctor when I was in mental crisis, I was offered an appointment with that same Doctor which I politely declined and asked to have an appointment regardarding the same issues with Dr Lookit. I appreciate that this was facilitated.
Dr Lookit is an amazingly unique Doctor. Not only does he genuinely care for his patients, emotionally intelligent and empathetic but also a consummate professional and very thorough. As terrible as I was feeling yesterday, I felt better after seeing Dr Lookit which helped me for which I am very grateful for. The Practice if very fortunate to have a Doctor as passionate and patient orientated as Dr Lookit.

I would appreciate if you could pass on my thanks to Dr Lookit as well as my feedback. Thank you.

Diabetes Review

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

The Healthcare Assistant was capable with the blood tests, giving the flu and tetanus injections. She tested the neuropathy but didn’t map the areas affected on the foot and gave general advice to be careful. When I told her about a lump in my buttock muscle she told me to book an appointment with the doctor.

I would like to assure you that part of the examination would have included a map of the areas affected and this would usually be saved on your record as part of the standard template during this type of appointment. The Healthcare assistant has advised you correctly to make a separate appointment appointment regarding your other issue, as this would need to be with the relevant qualified clinician.

Diabetic review

I did not have a diabetic nurse. The nurse did not understand my questions.
The nurse did not know the medication I am on. She could take blood samples.
It was a complete waste of my time.

We offer annual diabetic reviews that are carried out by a Healthcare assistant, they will then gather all the relevant data and complete the required checks, including foot exam and blood test, once all the results are received, if there is need for a follow-up you will be contacted. If you have specific questions that you have not have answered, you can make an appointment to speak to one of our diabetes specialist nurses.
