Cosham House and Kingston Crescent practice are vibrant and social branches of the Portdown practice. I believe Crookhorn ( my branch) is lacking in both.

It was good but trying to get appointment for my 16 year old daughter who has a bad cough, it hurting her chest, phoned today, no appointment, phoned 111, hopefully someone will ring me back so its poor at the moment.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you have been unable to gain access when needed for your daughter. We would advise that currently all areas of the health service have capacity issues and demand is often more than we can safely provide.

We therefore would like to provide the below guidance:

We are an appointment led service, therefore once we reach capacity you will be provided with appropriate signposting, this may include 111, local walk-in centre, pharmacy, or self-referral to community services.

Acute/urgent on the day appointments are available from 8.00am on option 1, initially this will a short telephone triage from a clinician, an assessment will be made, and you may need to attend for a face-to-face consultation.

For non-urgent, longstanding issues you should call at 10.00am on option 2.

We release on-line appointments at 7pm each weekday evening.

My experience

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

The fact the physiotherapist did not seem to take into account that I twisted both tendens same time as hurting back and between the back pain and the feet to knee's swelling still on and off from last January 22 he didn't seem to give any info regarding the pair of them. Even after telling him they both cause me pain together.

Smear test

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Was due for a smear test a year earlier than planned to monitor the behaviour of my body following the results from having a Colposcopy done at QA Hospital's gynecological department.
The very pleasant nurse said that the details of why I was having the smear test done early were not made clear to her, because of the vague details given to her by the computer system.
So after I advised her why I was there a year early she said she would write this info on the forms she is sending off.
