I needed a blood test and had the option of having it at Crookhorn Lane Surgery.
Nice and quick and simple. I didn't have to wait for very long in the waiting room. The nurse was cheerful and it didn’t take long as my veins must be good. What can I say? Well done Crookhorn!

I was seen on time and given expert treatment and advice by Dr Monnery.

I enjoy every session and I'm not made to feel guilty if I put a pound back on, it just makes me determined to do better next. Shlomo is such a nice man and really encourages you to do better.

The surgery was well organised with someone to direct you on entry.

The nurse was incredibly efficient and had a great manner. She saved me time next week by bundling my flu jab and a blood pressure check-in with the blood test I had gone in for.

My appointment was good however the practitioner who attended to me said he'd put up my prescription to Rowlands next door. He didn't do it and I'm left wondering how to go about this collection of prescriptions. So, in terms of handover and doing what you have promised, it's a 2 out of 10 for me.

A very pleasant experience. The surgery was empty and I was treated very well. As I'd broken my hip it would have been nice to receive some " care" info. I've received nothing from the main surgery.

My mother (who is 86 and not in the best of health and a bit unsteady at times) visited the Chemist to pick up her medication only to be told they hadn't received a script - so she went to the surgery and was informed that she wasn't on the system. After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing the tablets were sorted. Her next prescription for enalapril required review by the pharmacist and an appt was made for a telcon on 5 Sept at which time my mother explained to the pharmacist that she hadn't had her annual check up and was concerned as she'd been told she wasn't on the practice system.
The pharmacist arranged for her to have a blood test - didn't say what it was for - just to attend the surgery - she went to the surgery, explained that an appointment had been made for a blood test and for her to have her blood pressure taken and a flu jab - the surgery didn't know anything about the request but did take blood - but could not do flu jab until 15 Sept and also told her to go to the chemist to have blood pressure taken (Pharmacy was busy so they were unamused but did it).
I have since gone online to look at test results - most are within range and no further action required - Serum Ferritin however was well outside range and it says patient informed - no further action. My mother hasn't been informed.

I never have any problems with the surgery, I always feel the surgery does a fine job.

I found the surgery easy to find. I was impressed how clean and tidy the environment was. The staff were very efficient with no long waiting times. Having had recent knee surgery I was pleased to find high enough seating to accommodate me. Altogether a pleasant experience.

It was good.

Had three injections which were quick, polite staff professional staff with a sense of humour.
Location to where we live requires improving.
