This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

This was a very satisfactory visit as not only were my bloods taken, I also discussed other problems I was experiencing and as a result I was invited for a check up at St Mary’s dermatology department and now await a small operation. The results of my blood tests came back very quickly and I now have some extra medication. The nurse practitioner (who I believe was a district nurse) was very professional and caring and she is a credit to the practice. Thank you for being so helpful.

Prompt service

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Recently had a BP test done. I was surprised at the prompt service I received as a 7.40am appointment. But as for the surgery it's self I have no complaints. All doctors and clinicians I have met look professional in there scrubs. And are professional in service they provide.

MMR walk In climic

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

The ability to just walk in to the surgery for my MMR vaccinations without a prior appointment was great. This meant both my husband and I could turn up at a convenient time and both be seen and vaccinated together.
Very convenient and very efficient with the bonus of not having to wait on the phone to make an appointment. The waiting time at the surgery was minimal - a maximum of 15 minutes. A very efficient service.

Absolutely ridiculous service. I had a fasting blood test booked for 9:05am and it was cancelled one hour before. So I had to endure 11 hours of not eating or drinking in this heat for it to just be cancelled.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused. However, if your appointment was cancelled at 8am in the morning, it is highly likely that means it was due to unexpected sickness absence that was reported by the staff member that morning. We contact patients as soon as the surgery opens, which is in line with what you have reported.

Regrettably we cannot foresee sickness and always give as much notice as we can. If we are able to rebook with another clinician we would also offer that.
