The appointment was cancelled, but I was not informed. I turned up at 11.30, and the robot told me I had no appointment. The receptionist explained that many appointments had been cancelled that day, and arranged another appointment for two weeks later.

We will be investigating why you are not told. If you have a mobile, you would get a text - otherwise you should receive a telephone call, and any attempts to contact you would be recorded on your medical record. We have unfortunately had sickness within our nursing team recently, and the receptionist is quite right that this would cause many cancellations. However we do always endeavour to contact patients as early as possible and we typically know by 8am. Thank you for alerting us to this oversight.

Injection

I arrived on time and was seen on time. The person dealing with my injection was professional and polite. They answered any questions I had. I was totally satisfied with the experience.

Trying to get a doctor‘s appointment

When I actually got to see the doctor, she was excellent. The problem is trying to get an appointment you get told two different things by two different people so this is the main thing that needs to be improved.

My Asthma Review

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I was pleased to be invited for an Asthma Review recently as I hadn’t had a face-to-face review for some years. Cosham Park House Surgery has a nice atmosphere when you are there and the waiting rooms are more private than one big room full of people.
My review was conducted very thoroughly and I felt that my concerns were addressed very well. The staff are very welcoming and overall I found the experience a pleasure.

Related with my latest appointment everything was ok. I do have something to say about mail system. It’s supposed to receive a mail post from Cosham Park House Surgery with an appointed specialist, I never receive that mail post and I miss my appointment for Hernia check and that letter is suppose to be use for my insurance work. I payed for another letter 30 pounds and I’m still waiting that letter not be able to access my insurance. I want to add I check the address and is ok.

Nurse was very nice and friendly.
Received the treatment fine, shame my prescription for my ulcer dressings etc took nearly a week to come. Otherwise happy. Never had to wait long for appointment.

First ever visit

The surgery was welcoming, clean, bright and very quiet - only one other patient waiting to be seen.
