Received text message with date for routine blood test. Performed on said date. Followed up by telephone call explaining my cholesterol was high. Statins were prescribed. Very happy with the whole process.

Excellent support from the Frailty team

This is a review for Heyward Road Surgery & Practice

My elderly mother was referred to the frailty team and both Graham and Mark visited her at home and offered excellent advice and guidance. We’ve since been contacted by OT, physiotherapy and given documentation to support a blue badge application. Very responsive to emails and requests for advice. Very reassuring and most helpful- thank you !

We have a very large multi disciplinary team - something we have worked hard to introduce and are very proud of. If you need to see a GP, our trained care navigators will advise you of this. The best thing to do is call our team on Option 2 10am - 1pm to discus your medical query and determine who the most appropriate person would be. It is absolutely a GP in some cases, but with our vast team of Health Professionals, it may be that another colleague is more appropriate.

I was waiting for blood to be taken and staff that were supposed to attend to me was laughing and chatting with other members of staff for 10 minutes and I was thinking I was at the wrong place before one of the finally called me.

My Wife is ill

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

My wife had been ill for about 10 days and things seemed to be getting worse. I asked her to ring the surgery but she would say "I will have to wait for weeks". I took things in my hand and phoned the surgery. I was 30th in the queue and waited 25 minutes to be number 1, then I spoke to someone and gave them information about my wife and my worry about her. They said they would ring back in a few minutes, which they did, and said a doctor would be to us between 9 and 12 A.M.. The doctor came at about 9.30 and took a sample of my wife's urine and said "she has a urine infection, and I will electrically send a prescription for you to collect in the next 2 hours which she did and I collected the prescription a couple of hours later. I am happy to say my wife is on the mend.

Arrived early and was greeted bt the reception staff, very friendly and helpful.
Sat in the waiting room for my appointment, that place could do with a refresh. Happy to see a notice board with veterans issues.
