I was offered an appointment shortly after my initial phone call. The doctor was fantastic. He assessed my situation thoroughly without rushing me.

If I'm honest it is not often I phone in and get an excellent service, but yesterday I did. The call taker was understanding and supportive and did everything she said she would, I am so grateful and can now relax over the Christmas period.

Who to blame who to blame.... lack of staff, no appointments, underqualified reception staff, this all goes back to our government... I have seen a lot of bad reviews here for the surgery but you cannot blame the people who are trying their utmost best on a day to day basis to support the community with what they have.... In the beginning it was all about the 'foreigners' flooding our nhs system, then we had brexit, with promises of better services. So what happened to our nhs services, weren't they supposed to get better after brexit? Oh hold on, but then we had covid for two years.... and now its the war in Ukraine... Blame the foreigners for taking out jobs and using up all our nhs resources, blame brexit, and then covid... This country has no money because our government is sending billions to 'help' fight a war that we have no part in. Money that could be used to help 'our' failing nhs service.
So before you leave a negative feedback, look back at how we got in this mess in the first place. Unfortunately this is what the government wants, those who can afford private treatment are ok, unfortunately those who cant are at loss. If you want to blame someone blame the government not the surgery staff

Seen on time, very nice nurse efficient and pleasant.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant, nice atmosphere in the surgery and punctual.

Didnt have to wait long, nurse was great at putting me at ease.

Was referred from walk in clinic at St Mary’s. Investigation at C P H was gentle and thorough by nurse practitioner, was referred to urology dep for another appointment. The anti biotics were prescribed.

Very quick response between calling and seeing a doctor.

I use the GP as a very last resort and after having a chest infection for almost 4 weeks (with 1 previous course of antibiotics) I decided I needed to speak to someone as it had returned again. I started calling at 7.59am after 167 calls and 55 mins I finally managed to get through and was given a telephone appointment. After this call I was given a face to face appointment which was fab. The doctor I saw told me I had a viral infection and just to take ibuprofen and cocodamol as antibiotics weren't needed. Now 3 days on my cough is horrendous I have a wheeze back again and can feel it sitting on my chest. The pain hasn't gone either despite taking pain killers as instructed.

Well conducted appointment and on time as well, need I say more.

I went along thinking I had an appointment at the surgery, my mistake it was suppose to be a phone call. I was very distressed. The door open and The social prescriber said she was on her own, I immediately broke down. She was very kind, we sat each end of the seating and I explained a little how bad I was feeling. I do not let my family know or friends so I just needed to let it out how bad I felt. She listened gave me advice which I’ve taken notice of was very helpful. I apologised for getting it wrong putting her in awkward position which she handled very well. Thanked her, will wait for her call this week.

I had two appointments on the same day, one for a flu vaccine, one for blood tests. The same woman carried out both procedures. She was very friendly, making me feel less nervous and at ease. She talked me through everything and explained what she was doing as she was doing it. After a not so great blood test the previous week this was as easy an experience as it could be.

I came in for a blood test and wasn't kept waiting for long, the lady that did the test was very good, friendly, put you at ease, overall not a bad experience.

Monthly injection. Kind and efficient.

Pleasantly surprised to find my appointment was on time. The nurse carrying out the evaluation of my needs to treat my asthma was carried out expertly.
She was more than knowledgeable related to my condition.
