Rang for an emergency appointment as had sore throat and headache for 2 days. I'm a transplant patient meaning I'm more susceptible to infection etc and all I got from receptionists was speak to pharmacy.

Trying to get through to speak to someone is a joke. Every time I call I never get through, and if I do manage to get through, you're always too busy to deal with me. You've taken on too many patients and as a result, it is affecting people being seen by their GP.

Thank you for your feedback. We have a maximum capacity of calls to be held at any given time, if we have reached that number that you call will not be connected. Once you are in the queue please hold, the calls are dealt with very quickly, usually not exceeded more than 10 minutes. We refute taking on too many patients, we are not looking to close our list, as this has implications on the other Practices within our locality.

Sort out your call center.

Have the old system back where we can make appointment whenever the Doctor's are available it's instead of weekly slots.

Sort Emergency appointments times it should be all day call in instead of 8am and 2pm.

There is more I don't have enough time.

Thank you for your feedback. To be efficient and effective with resources we have to have to put protocols in place. The reason we have a break in the day for urgent appointments, is to allow to staff breaks / change over.

The appointment was for a blood test. The lady was running late but she was very efficient. The blood test was completed in a timely manner and very professionally. My only concern is that in booking in on the machine can cause anxiety when practitioners run late. I was wondering if the booking in had not worked properly.

I found the surgery very efficient, did not have to wait long, but I have to say this surgery is not easy to find or get to if you didn't have a car there is no parking facility's available for patients attending appt .
