Rang for an appointment and pleased when I only had to wait one minute. Was told doctor would ring back which he did and then prescribed appropriate medication which sorted my problem out.

Not the best experience

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

I booked my appt online for a blood test and turned up to my appt to be told I got the wrong day.
The receptionist wasn’t overly friendly but polite. She asked the nurse if she could squeeze me in after her next appt, as my bloods literally take 3 minutes as I had the form ready, but she said no it was her tea break. The hospital needed the bloods a couple of days later and I couldn’t get another appt until after the hospital needed them but they didn’t care.
I had already travelled 15 minutes to get there with a baby and they couldn’t even just give me 3 minutes.
The receptionist told me to drive to Cosham and ask them if they could do it there, which I was not going to do as I know it would have been a no!! Pretty poor to be honest.

Jab required

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

Called and advised that I was due a Tetanus job, booked on line via link, no problems.
Attended CPH, only to be told that I needed 4 jabs and not 1?
Crookhorn is my surgery, so why could I not go there for my injections?

Examination of moles

I was seen by a nurse who was exceptionally kind and treated me with great respect. She gave me confidence about her examination and was helpful and arranged an appointment for me at the appropriate clinic. I also had a blood test the same day. Everything was done swiftly and professionally.

Do not fully understand why you will not prescribe medication QA Hospital says I require. Especially as I was referred by GP at surgery. Most unhelpful.

Minor Surgery handled very well

I received minor surgery at the clinic to remove a mole. Both the assisting nurse and the consultant / GP were very helpful and professional. I really appreciated their support.
The surgery itself had an easy check in process and I was seen very promptly after checking in.

I was very impressed

I made an appointment to see a GP because I discovered a lump in the area of my groin. The appointment took place within 45 minutes of phoning the surgery. I was examined by a nurse practitioner whose name I will don’t know. He was extremely competent and after a thorough examination informed me that I had a hernia. He went to great lengths to explain what a hernia was and that nothing needed to be done at the moment. I was very impressed with his professionalism and thanked him for his diagnosis.

Great from start to finish. Got through on phone for call back. Spoke to nurse who booked me in to see her. Nikki Appleton was very good, sorted out medication, xray and bloods. Karen Adams assisted regarding asthma pumps. Cant thank these girls enough. Very good service.
