Overall experience was very good

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Contacted the surgery after consulting with the local pharmacy, and I was told to ring the following morning for a triage appointment.
Never having used the system before, I called the following morning, the only option to use was "urgent appointment", which turned out to be the correct option!
I was told someone would ring me back, which they did within a couple of hours and after a phone consultation, it was decided I needed to see a doctor, and was given an appointment for later that morning.
When I arrived at the surgery, I used the self-check-in service and waited to see the doctor, who was very good and thorough.
Overall experience was very good, once having gotten passed the initial hassle of the computerised system.

Dementia review

This is a review for Crookhorn Surgery

Having Alzheimer’s dementia, J wasn’t really aware of the reason for his appointment. However, the nurse clinician was very good with him, she explained the reason he was there, and asked him a few questions. She also consulted me, his wife. I had already sent in a little note explaining some of the things that had been happening, so nurse was aware of some of his incorrect answers.

Asthma clinic

This is a review for Somerstown Surgery

I had really great visit the nurse was lovely and very very helpful, explained a lot of things and went through all different test that are going to take place over next few months to help get to the bottom of all my breathing problems. Felt like she really wanted to help me, wasnt rushed or just fobbed off. Really great experience, well done.

Blood pressure review

After going to Crookhorn surgery were I was book I was told it had been changed to Cosham via TXT
but I dont always turn my phone on I do not use it as an extension of my arm, like the youngsters. Once there I was over my appointed time and had to rush to Cosham where if I had not insisted to see someone I would have had to have gone away again. Like everyone I can not afford to keep running my car. The receptionist after a while got me in which I was very grateful for if I would have had to come back I would not have bothered.

Brilliant

This is a review for Cosham Park House Surgery

I saw Dr Mosley on the 4th of August and after a lengthy examination it was decided by Dr Mosley for me to be admitted to hospital. The time spent with Dr Mosley was so beneficial. The doctor walked me to my car in the car park and made sure that my son was available to come and drive the car to the QA hospital.
I cannot recommend the treatment I was given by Dr Mosley high enough. He was brilliant and did more than he needed to do to ensure my safety and health was ensured before I could leave the premises.

Urgent Doctor appointment request

I had some concerns about a growth and after speaking to surgery staff and submitting pictures I received appointment later same day. This led to a referral to dermoscopy and subsequent hospital referral. all completed exceptionally quickly and with care.

Excellent

This is a review for Kingston Crescent Surgery

I started to fill in an e consult form when it closed and I was told to make an emergency appointment. I phoned and was given one for 30 minutes later. I was given tests and nothing was rushed. I couldn’t fault the service. That afternoon the doctor phoned me about the results and a prescription was sent to my pharmacy. He had also contacted the hospital and the following day I received a letter from them. I couldn’t have been treated better if I had gone private. The service really was excellent.
