Where blood tests require no action it is our policy we would not routinely contact the patient; however, please be reassured that you would be contacted immediately should there be a need for discussion and/or treatment.

Could not log in on the entrance machine, had to wait 10 minutes in queue for the desk as only one staff member on duty ( although lots of laughter coming from back office) only to be told its a different system for inoculation's just go through to waiting room as a result I was late for my appointment.

Thank you for your comments. We are sorry that you had to wait 10 minutes in the queue due to the self-check-in not working. Usually we have additional staff available when we have vaccination clinics, however this is not always possible. We are pleased that you were able to receive your vaccination, due to the delay caused by us.

Caring and compassionate

This is a review for Paulsgrove Surgery

Have had to visit twice in the space of a week. First time was an emergency appointment and I cannot fault the standard of care I received. The second appointment was for a booked blood test. It was the hottest day of the year and wasn’t such a positive experience. The surgery was extremely hot, with very little ventilation from the windows and no fans. It was very uncomfortable, especially as the surgery still requires the wearing of masks. My appointment was almost 10 mins late which made it slightly more unbearable. On both occasions, the receptionist and medical team were faultless. Very welcoming, caring and compassionate. I definitely prefer this surgery to Cosham.

However if they feel a GP needs to be involved that will be communicated to you and arranged during your consultation. We are fortunate to have a very wide and varied team and the GP is not always the most appropriate person.

My partner made 26 calls between 8am and 9am which were for Emergency calls only which mine was, got through 9 05 to be told we can only call between 8 and 9am. Since then I've had a pacemaker fitted only because I broke my hip and ended up in hospital. Where the surgeon found out it was 7 yrs since I had a check up with my irregular heartbeat by my GP who he got in touch with.

Dr Mosely arranged a face to face appointment based on my online consultation without me needing to phone the surgery. His appointment ran on time, he was very kind and understanding and took time to discuss my recent health issues. I came away feeling understood and valued.
