The surgery requested a blood test, all was perfectly in order, and treatment good, however if it were me that wanted an appointment that's a different story, I have not seen a Dr, in 3 years and I am disabled!!

I wrote a letter to Doctor Ozzard 3 weeks ago because I couldn't get an appointment with him, I rang in the morning and all appointments were gone, I rang in the afternoon and all appointments had gone so I tried to e consult and all I got was it not open try again tomorrow morning.
I am not happy because I feel that no one cares.

I had great difficulty using e consult to connect and was only informed later that numbers are limited so if you don't get in quick then you have to try next day, its better calling surgery line first thing continually and try to get an appointment then.

Lovely nurse but cant review my rests online and after requesting my medication online, I'm only getting one months worth of medication at a time which must cost the surgery more money as you are having to deal with my scripts monthly instead of the old 3 monthly scripts I used to get. Also cannot review any of my information on the sys online site since Portsdown group took over from Hanway group.

When transferring to on-line prescription requests you should still be able to request 3 months rather than 1, it would appear that the set-up has been changed for some reason, you can call to get this changed, or put a comment in with your next request to get this changed. Your access to your records should have remained the same, however this is easily resolved by either speaking to reception or telephoning for assistance.

Steroid injection

My appointment was for a 09.30 timeslot and I was in and out shortly after that time. The nurse named Carl explained what to expect from the injection and despite an expected sting from the injection I was able to continue with my day without any issues. Carl also told me that the steroid would take about a fortnight to have the desired effect and as I write this review I notice that the injection has been effective as I have no issues with my trigger finger problem.

Finally had a face-to-face because of several overbalancing near falls due to ear blockage which was told my left was totally blocked & needed to find a solution myself at an audio surgery which I did, the damage I had done to my shoulder & neck done by catching myself falling several times I was given a prescription for Ibuprofen gel to run on my shoulder back & neck which was impossible to do as needed another to help but live alone & no one near to help me?
